We cannot control everything. And sometimes life gets really rough. Drawing is meditation.
When you are under stress I suggest you draw a pig.
It has medicinal value, I just have not figured out how to bottle it yet.
The FDA is probably not ready for the widespread impact of this treatment.
Do you have paper and a pen? You must. So you have no excuse: draw a pig. All you need is a pushed up nose, some attitude, and a corkscrew tail.
Everyone can do this. Ask any 5 year old and they will give you pig drawing in minutes. I bet the drawing will be excellent. Five year olds know something we forget as we get older: drawing is always good.
Pigs drawings hold infinite possibility. Maybe calling them ” doodles” will make you more likely to let them come out of your pencil? SO BE IT. PIG DOODLE. NOW.
There are a lot of stressful things going on in life. Maybe you had to sit in a doctor’s office twisting your hands in your lap this week. Next time: DRAW SOME PIGS. On the back of an envelope. On your discharge slip. Surprise the person who will calculate your bill with an impromptu pig. They will not know what hit them.
When life gets too stressy it is like swimming through pudding. Well, pigs like pudding. And when you start drawing them you might forget the ingredients in your personal pudding for a while. You need to forget for a while I’ll bet…
Once you start inviting pigs they have a tendency to tell their friends, and the pig party multiplies exponentially…
Hard to draw just one. Do some on Post-it notes and leave them anonymously in boring places or places where other people may really be stressy too. Maybe seeing a pig would make somebody smile for the first time that day? Then you will have helped two people by drawing pigs with possibility.
