Having a reliable artistic process is very valuable when one is trying to get out of a rut or just develop a regular drawing practice.

This workshop will cover a variety of ways to develop imagery and quickly ” interpret” reality in a way that will enrich a rendering experience. There are a lot of reasons to draw. One of the most powerful tools is a dedication to fifteen minutes of daily observational sketching.

Building skill takes time. Repetition is not the same as practice. We will explore the nature of practice through the use of some very versatile materials and a flexible mindset.

Hi Ellen! I am still considering this workshop. Do you know how many spots are still available? My main concern is that I need to have shoulder surgery the first week in September, and just not sure how long my recovery will take orhow longI will be in a sling. …….sigh….the joys of getting old…………..
